The ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (ICMR-VCRC), Puducherry is a Permanent Institute of Indian Council of Medical Research, an autonomous organization under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications upto 15.04.2019 for filling up the following vacancies in ICMR-VCRC, Puducherry and Field Stations at Koraput (Odisha) / Kottayam (Kerala) / Madurai (Tamil Nadu).
Total No of Posts : 56 Posts
➽ Technical Assistant : 18 Posts
1st class three year Bachelor’s degree in Zoology / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Medical Laboratory Technology / Sociology / Social Work / Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Technology.
➽ Technician-1 : 22 Posts
12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks and at least one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / Diploma in Computer Applications / Diploma in Instrumentation & Control Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Diploma in Refrigeration / Air Conditioning.
➽ Lab Attendant-1 : 09 Posts
10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board plus ITI / Trade certificate in Catering & Hospitality Assistant / computer operator & programming assistant.
➽ Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) : 07 Posts
Matric / S.S.C or equivalent from a recognized board with a valid driving license issued by RTO of any State and authorized to drive Light Motor Vehicles (Goods & Passenger) and Two wheeler with / without Gear and two years experience in recognized organization / Institute.
Age Limit :
- Technical Assistant : Not Exceeding 30 Years.
- Technician-1 : Not Exceeding 28 Years.
- Lab Attendant-1 : Between 18 to 25 Years.
- Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) : Not Exceeding 25 Years.
Application Fee :
Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) towards application fee drawn in favour of “The Director, ICMR-VCRC, Puducherry” to be submitted along with duly filled-in application. SC / ST / PwD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee. ICMR employees are not exempted from payment of application fee. Candidates, who wish to apply for more than one post, have to submit separate application for each post along with Demand Draft (as applicable).
