Offices in the Containment Zone will be closed except for essential services. Offices at Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar outside the Containment Zone will be open to all Class 1 and 2 officers and 50 per cent Class 3 and 4 employees. While all other districts will continue to have 100 per cent staff in the offices outside the containment zone.
It also said that if an employee lives in a container zone area, the employee cannot be called. If the officer in charge of taxation wishes, the employee can call the officers according to the shift.
All the offices outside the Containment Zone of all other districts will be functioning with 100% staff. However, employees living in Containment Zones should not be called on duty. Offices in other districts may keep staggered Timing if needed. E.g. As for 50% of the employees 10 AM to 5.40 PM and for the remaining 90% of the employees 10.30 AM to 6.10 PM. All other employees will have to work from home. As well as be available on mobile phones and e-mail.
The Government of India has issued circulars from time to time regarding the vigilance to be taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Personnel and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to control the recently spread novel Corona virus (Covid-19). With the order and guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Government of India dated 19/06/2050, the lockdown has been extended for another two weeks i.e. till 31/06/2050 and to allow only essential activity in the Containment Zones while special restrictions in all areas except the Containment Zones. Exemption is granted for all activities except those placed.
Employees directly involved in controlling the infection of Novel Coronavirus (covid-19) as well as departments involved in essential emergency services such as the Department of Health and Family Welfare as well as its affiliated offices, Food and Civil Supplies Department and their affiliated offices, Collector Office, Disaster Management. Offices, Panchayats, Municipalities, Corporations (with required-urgent type of operation) The following shall apply to the offices other than the employees involved, gas, electricity distribution companies, water supply related offices, police system, home guard, civil defense etc.
The following instructions are applicable to the State Government Offices except those which are associated with essential services with immediate effect starting from next two weeks i.e. till 31/05/2030. All the offices in the Containment Zone which are not associated with the required services will be closed. This will be done keeping in view the instructions, the offices in the Containment Zones will be closed. Among the offices located outside the Containment Zone, all the Class-I and Class-II officers should be present at the offices at Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. While in case of class-3 and below employees, 50% of the staff is present every day and the head of the office has to plan accordingly. Employees / Officers on duty in all the offices at the capital Gandhinagar If they reside at Ahmedabad and their residence is outside the Containment Zones, all the employees at all the office zones above Gandhinagar should follow the standard procedure for maintaining social distance by the employees. Issued from the circular dated 17/09/2050. It will be the responsibility of the head of the concerned office to see that the said circular affiliation instructions are implemented.
The head of the office will be able to give exemption to the disabled employee (Person with disabilities) working in the offices in Containment Zones considering his disability-ability to work etc. E.g. As in the case of blind employees who have to work only by touching or supporting an object, a paralyzed employee living in the Containment Zone or performing duty in the offices of that area will have to be exempted. In this regard, the head of the office will have to take a decision at his own discretion in the interest of the disabled employees.
The head of each office as well as each employee should be updated with the information regarding the Containment Zones issued from time to time by the local district system, congregations, health and family welfare department.
Circular No. of Health and Family Welfare Department dated 18/06/2050: From NCP-102050 SFS3-G, the districts of the state have been classified into different zones and the details of containment zones have to be taken into consideration and continuously Stay updated.
Visitors are completely barred from entering unless absolutely necessary. The head of each office will have to take a discretionary decision to ensure that the important work of the office is not delayed in relation to the presence of his employees.
