The PM Care Fund was launched to deal with the corona virus. In which many donors of the country donated money. However, the government has not yet accounted for the money. But at present the first installment of Rs 3100 crore from this fund has been spent by the government. The government has sanctioned Rs 100 crore for vaccine development.

The first installment of Rs 3,100 crore has been released from the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PMCARS) fund to fight Corona. Which will be used to buy 2000 crore ventilators. While Rs 1000 crore will be spent on overseas labor. In addition, Rs 100 crore has been allocated for the development of corona vaccine in the country. This fund is specifically designed to fight epidemics.
It was established by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 27, 2020. The Minister of Defense, the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Finance are members of its steering committee. 50 thousand ventilators manufactured in the country will be procured from the amount provided by PM Care. The ventilators to be procured from companies in the country will be supplied to government hospitals in all the states.
