AHMEDABAD : The situation is seemingly getting worse. In 24 hours ending 5 pm on Sunday, Gujarat added 374 cases – led by 274 in Ahmedabad alone. The state also recorded 28 deaths including 23 from Ahmedabad. For both the state and district, these were the highest numbers recorded so far.
As on Sunday evening, Gujarat has recorded 5,428 total Covid-19 cases and 290 deaths. On Sunday, the state crossed 1,000-mark for recovered patients with 1,042 recovered and discharged so far. Now one in every five patients has got recovered in Gujarat.
