Gujarat government announces fees for private hospitals treating corona, find out how much they can charge?
In the ward of a private Corona hospital, Rs 4,500 for a government bed and Rs 10,000 for a private bed have been fixed. HDU has been charged Rs 6,750 for government bed and Rs 14,000 for private bed.
Corona cases are on the rise in Gujarat at present. At present in Gujarat, government hospitals as well as some private hospitals are allowed to provide treatment for a fee. However, these hospitals charge millions of rupees for the treatment of corona. The Gujarat High Court had directed the state government to fix the fees of these hospitals. Following the order of the Gujarat High Court, the state government has fixed the fees of private hospitals for the treatment of corona.
As per the fee announced by the Gujarat government for the treatment of corona, Rs 4500 for government bed and Rs 10,000 for private bed have been fixed in the ward of private corona hospital. HDU has been charged Rs 6,750 for government bed and Rs 14,000 for private bed. In addition, the government bed charge for isolation + ICU has been fixed at Rs 9,000 and the private bed charge at Rs 19,000.
Apart from this, the charge for ventilation + isolation + ICU for government bed is 11,250, while the charge for private bed is 23,000. These prices also include two meals a day, tea and snacks. Charges for special doctor visits, dialysis and special lab tests will be counted separately.
