Railway service has come to a standstill since the lockdown was announced. However, the railway is running a special train for laborers and people trapped in lockdown. Meanwhile, now 200 non AC trains will be run every day from June 1. Its booking will start soon. The special thing is that everyone can take advantage of this service. Let us know that the fourth phase of lockdown is till 31 May.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted late on Tuesday evening that 200 non-AC Mail Express trains would be run across the country from June 1, which would run as per the timetable. It is said that waiting list tickets can also be found in these trains, but Tatkal or Premium Tatkal tickets will not be available. These trains can be booked only from the IRCTC website. The date from which the booking will start will be announced shortly.
Earlier on May 12, the central government had started special trains from Delhi at 15 places and besides, labor special trains were running in different states. If the passenger train starts now, it will be a great relief for the general public. Because the government has also given permission to run buses in different states in Lockdown 4, there was a bit of frustration as the train did not start which can be said to go away after June 1.
