State Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama has given this signal and it has brought good news for parents amid the Koro epidemic.In a webinar between Education Minister Chudasama and school administrators, Chudasama had hinted that schools would not be open for children from Std 1 to 5 even after Diwali.
According to the information received, schools for students of standard 9 to 12 will be reopened after Diwali vacation. Consideration is also being given to allow children of standard 6 to 8 to come to school even in rural areas.
Jatin Bharade, vice-president of Gujarat Swanirbhar School Board of Directors, said that in the first phase, 9 to 12 schools will be started. Later, if the situation is brought under control, opening of small classes will be considered.
