Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja has made it clear that the curfew will not be lifted at present as night curfew is currently in force in four metros in the state. A curfew has been imposed in Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara and Surat from 9 pm to 6 am due to the increased cases of corona after Diwali.
It has been announced that it will not be removed at present. It may be noted that the night curfew has been eased by food and beverage traders as well as people from many other sectors involved in the business.
It has also demanded a reduction in the curfew. This is because the night curfew has affected business in many sectors. There was a strong demand for lifting the night curfew, especially in the last few days when December 31 came, but now the hopes of people in all walks of life have been dashed.
