Modi in FICCI: PM says- We want the interest of farmers with fixed and policy, if they get support, the country will be strong.
Modi said that as the situation in the country deteriorated, so did the reforms.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 93rd Annual Meeting (AGM) of the Federation of Indian Commerce and Industry (FICCI) via video-conference. Modi said that farmers would benefit the most from the reforms in the agricultural sector. There were walls between agriculture and related fields, such as food processing, cold chain. Now those obstacles are being overcome.
Now farmers will find new markets and new options. There will be more investment in agriculture. The world has gone through many ups and downs. A few years later when we remember the Corona period will not be considered. The best part is that as quickly as the situation has deteriorated, improvements have been made.
'If the farmer prospers, the country will prosper'
Today, India's agriculture is more dynamic than ever. Today farmers also have the option to sell outside the mandis. They can also buy and sell on digital medium. If the farmer becomes prosperous, the country will develop.
'If farmers get support, the country will be stronger'
As much as in the private sector, investing in agriculture has not happened in our country. We have a problem with cold storage here. The problem with manure is that it is imported. Entrepreneurs should come forward for this. The more support the farmers get and the more we invest, the stronger the farmer and the country will be.
