The state government had given a big relief to 65,000 teachers in the state. The government has decided to cancel the old circular in the case of 4200 grade pay. With the cancellation of the old circular, 65 thousand teachers will get an economic benefit of 6 to 8 thousand rupees per month. Teachers will now get the financial benefit of 9 years, 20 years and 31 years of service.
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel said the process of revoking the old circular would be completed in the next one week. So the rule of taking exams for the promotion of teachers has also been dropped. Teachers will now get the financial benefit of 9 years, 20 years and 31 years of service. 4200 grade-pay for primary teachers will remain the same as the first higher pay scale and the concerned teachers will be given the benefit from their due date.

At present, according to the formula of the state government, when a person is appointed as a teacher, he gets a grade penny benefit of Rs. 2400. This means that Rs 2400 is added to his basic salary. Based on this, his expensive allowance and other salaries are calculated. After 9 years of service, the grade pay has gone up from Rs 2,800 to Rs 4,200, 20 years of work means Rs 4,400 and 31 years of work means Rs 4,600.
