The weight of the school bag has finally reached the final: the new rules that have come, will be strictly enforced.
The Union Ministry of Education has taken a very important decision regarding school children's bags. According to him, the government has announced a new bag policy and now the weight of a child's bag should not exceed five kilograms. The weight of the briefcase should not be more than ten per cent of the weight of the child, the ministry decided.

Accordingly, the weight of the bag of a child studying in the first class was decided from 1.5 kg to 2.5 kg. While the weight of the bags of students studying in standard 12 will be on average 2.5 to 5 kg. There will be no school bag for pre-primary children. The Union Ministry of Education had informed all the States and Union Territories about the new policy and directed them to strictly implement it.
