Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the new chairman of the Somnath Temple Trust. This important decision was taken in today's virtual meeting. Let me tell you, Prime Minister Modi is the eighth chairman of the Somnath Trust.
Importantly, former Gujarat Chief Minister and veteran Gujarat BJP leader Keshubhai Patel has been the chairman of the Somnath Temple Trust till now, but the post fell vacant after his death and PM Modi was elected as the chairman at the recent meeting.
Importantly, LK Advani, a veteran BJP leader and a member of the steering committee, is also a member of the Somnath Trust, which works for the development of the Somnath Temple and the Prabhas religious pilgrimage area.
