According to an ICMR study, the vaccine is effective in beating the UK, Brazilian and African variants of the Corona. Not only that, covexin also eliminates the risk of double mutants.
Importantly, many of Corona's mutants are currently active in India. Many cases involving UK, Brazil and African strains have already been found in India. It was recently learned that desi variants have also been made in India with the highest number of cases being found in Bengal. The new ICMR study has brought a ray of hope.
