From today, people between the ages of 18 and 44 will get the vaccine in all the districts of the state.
Vaccination will be started at 1200 centers across the state. And the decision to administer 2.25 lakh vaccines daily has been taken by the CM Rupani government.
From today, people in the age group of 18 to 44 will be vaccinated in all the districts of the state. Two and a half lakh doses will be given daily. The three crore doses arranged by the Gujarat government. Under this, vaccination will be started at 1200 centers in all 33 districts of the state.
The Gujarat government estimates that there are 3.25 crore citizens in the age group of 18 to 45 years in the state. The Gujarat government asks every citizen to get vaccinated, but according to the World Health Organization, if 70 per cent of the population is vaccinated, herd immunity will come and the corona can be controlled. However, since people in this age group are most active in daily life, at least 85% of them need to be vaccinated.

If we talk about today's vaccination in the state, 4261 of the healthcare workers and frontline workers were given the first dose and 4287 people were given the second dose. The first dose was given to 43082 people over the age of 45 and the second dose to 25441 people. The first dose was given to 98288 people aged 18-45 years. Thus, 1,75,359 people were vaccinated in one day in Gujarat.
The rate of coronavirus in the state is slowing down. The number of new cases is declining. In the last 24 hours, 1,207 new cases have been reported in the state and 17 patients have died from corona. With that the total death toll from Corona has reached 9890. The number of recovering patients in the state is also steadily increasing. There are 3,018 patients undergoing corona in the state today.
7,78,976 people have been discharged in the state so far. The number of active cases in the state has also come down. The number of active cases in the state has reached 24404. Of which 429 patients are on ventilator and 23975 people are stable. The recovery rate from Corona in the state is 95.78 per cent.
