IFFCO-Kalol unit builds world's first nano urea liquid fertilizer, beneficial for Earthlings.
Nanotechnology Research Center of IFFCO-Kalol Unit, Gujarat developed an environmentally friendly nano urea liquid fertilizer for effective and sustainable farming. Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani has expressed the view that nitrogen-rich nano urea liquid fertilizer made with nanotechnology will be useful for the sons of the earth in changing the direction of traditional agriculture.
The Chief Minister concluded the world's first eco-friendly nano urea liquid fertilizer manufactured by IFFCO-Kalol by video conference from the Flag of Gandhinagar. He congratulated the scientists and board of directors of IFFCO for this achievement and said that against the widespread demand for urea, the liquid urea produced with this nanotechnology would facilitate the availability of urea to the farmers.
IFFCO Chairman Balwinder Singh Nakai, Vice President Dilipbhai Sanghani, State Government Minister Jayeshbhai Radadia and IFFCO MD were present on the occasion. U.S. Officers, including Awasthi, participated from a virtual platform.
Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani said that agriculture and farmers will be prosperous only with the agricultural prosperity of our Indian nation with agriculture and rural culture. If agriculture is prosperous then the village will be prosperous, if the village is prosperous then the city will be prosperous and if the cities are prosperous then the whole state, economy will be prosperous.
The Chief Minister said that for the first time in the country, Gujarat has conducted a new experiment. After the hurricane, trees like coconut, mango, mango, lemon and guava have fallen and will be revived in the same place. Not only this, the help of agricultural scientists from the state's agricultural universities is also being sought in this work.He said that IFFCO would now make this nano urea available to farmers at 10 per cent less than the subsidized urea, which would benefit the farmers economically and also help in removing the imbalance in the soil.
It is important to point out that spraying of nano urea (liquid) on the leaves at a critical stage of crop development effectively meets its nitrogen requirement and increases the productivity and quality of the crop as compared to conventional urea.
