Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 'Customized Crash Course' program for frontline workers on June 18 at 11 am. With 111 training centers in 26 states, the program aims to train more than one lakh Kovid warriors across the country.
Statement issued by the PMO
A statement issued by the PMO said that PM Modi would inaugurate the event at 11 a.m. via video conferencing. In another statement, the PMO said it had decided to allocate Rs 41.62 crore from the DRDO of the PM Care Fund Trust for setting up two 250-bed non-permanent Kovid hospitals in Murshidabad and Kalyani in West Bengal. Some assistance will also be provided by the state government and the Union Ministry of Health.
What is the purpose of the program?
The program aims to impart skills and upskill to more than one lakh Kovid warriors across the country. Items such as Home Care Support, Basic Care Support, Advanced Care Support, Emergency Care Support, Sample Collection Support and Medical Equipment Support will be provided.
