The third wave is expected to be completed in March
In the last 24 hours, 1,79,723 new cases of corona virus have been reported in India while 46,569 people have recovered. Corona has also killed 146 people in the country. Corona's active cases have risen to 7,23,619. So the positive rate has gone up to 13.29 per cent. So the cases of the new variant Omicron of Corona have increased to 4033. In the midst of all this, experts are also expressing fears that a third wave of Corona has hit some parts of the country, including Delhi and Mumbai. But soon the third wave of Corona in the country will be over. However, experts believe that the third wave of Corona has started in Mumbai and Delhi.
Corona's third wave at the top in Mumbai-Delhi
Manind Agarwal, a professor and mathematician at IIT Kanpur, studied the Corona case in Mumbai and Delhi. He claims that by the end of January, there could be 8 lakh cases of corona infection in India. He said, "The third wave of Corona in Mumbai is expected to reach its peak by the middle of this month. A similar situation is not far off in Delhi.
When will the third wave of Corona end in the country?
"According to the current preliminary calculations, we anticipate that the third wave of corona in Delhi will reach its peak next month, i.e. early February," said Professor Manind. He further said that the faster the corona graph of Delhi and Mumbai goes up, the faster it is likely to go down. The graph of the whole country has just begun to grow. It should take another month for it to reach its peak and come down. The third wave of epidemics in India was also expected to end by mid-March.
Regarding the lockdown, Manind Agarwal says that a very strict lockdown was followed in the first wave so that the transition to Corona was slowed down.
During the second wave, different states adopted different strategies. States that properly implemented mild or moderate lockdowns also helped reduce Corona transition. But due to the lockdown, many people lost their livelihood. Some even died due to loss of livelihood.
