In view of the increasing number of cases of corona, the process of ban has started in many states of the country. After the imposition of weekend curfew in Delhi, a weekend curfew has also been announced in Karnataka. Night curfews are already in place in many states. There will be a weekend curfew in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has appealed to the people to leave the house only if there is a very important work to be done after the DDMA meeting. In addition to essential services, all government officials will work from home. Private institutions have also been asked to do 50 per cent of the work from home.
Delhi
- Full curfew in Delhi from Friday night to Monday morning. In addition to the daily night curfew, there will be a full night curfew on Saturdays and Sundays, a night curfew from 11pm to 5am.
- Considering the problems of the people of Delhi, buses and metros have been allowed to run at full capacity.
- Private offices will operate with 50% capacity. There is no need to come to the office except for essential services in government offices. Work will be done online or from home.
- Pubs, clubs, restaurants, bars, hotels, cinema halls, theaters, auditoriums will be run with 50 per cent capacity.
Uttar Pradesh
- Night curfew in UP will now be from 10 pm to 6 am.
- All schools in the state will be closed till standard 10.
- From January 6, no more than 100 people will attend any event. Even if there is no marriage. There should be no more than 50 per cent people in any open space.
- Gym, spa, cinema hall, wedding hall, restaurant and other public places will open with only 50 percent capacity.
Karnataka
- Weekend curfew in the state from January 7.
- Night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am across the state.
- All schools, colleges (except Medical Para Medical College) in Bengaluru will be closed.
- Pubs, clubs, restaurants, bars, hotel restaurants etc. will open with only 50% capacity.
- Cinema halls, multiplexes, theaters, auditoriums etc. will also open with only 50 per cent capacity.
- Night curfew in Bihar from January 6
- Night curfew will be in force in Bihar from January 6 to January 21 from 10 pm to 5 am.
- Schools will be closed till standard 8.
- Government and non-government offices will work with 50 percent capacity.
- Institutions for ninth and higher education can be opened with 50 per cent capacity.
- A maximum of 50 people will be allowed in wedding ceremonies and shraddha programs.
- Shops and private establishments will be open till 8 pm.
- Religious places will be closed. Malls, cinemas, clubs, swimming pools, stadiums, gyms, parks will also be closed till January 21.
