As many as 283 lions have died in Gujarat in the wake of alarming figures
In Gujarat, alarming figures have come out about the deaths of lions and tigers. In the Gujarat Assembly session, the government had informed that 333 lampreys have died in two years. There are 242 pangolins and 91 baby pangolins. The natural death toll has risen to 175 pangolins and 68 baby pangolins. While 67 pangolins and 23 baby pangolins have died in unnatural deaths. On the other hand, the terror of pangolins has increased in Gir Somnath and Junagadh in the state. There have been 85 incidents of Deepada attacking a man. Nine people were killed and 79 were injured. Another question said that in the last 2 years, 112 lions have been given radiocolors in the state out of which 7 lions have died.
In the last two years, 29 lions have died in accidents and 254 naturally. A total of 283 lions have died in the last two years. On the other hand, 333 pangolins have died in two years. Of these, 242 lizards and 91 baby lizards have died. The natural death toll has risen to 175 pangolins and 68 baby pangolins. While 67 pangolins and 23 baby pangolins have died in unnatural deaths. The government also told the assembly that the Gir sanctuary has generated revenue of Rs 14 crore in two years.

In response to this question, the government said in writing that the government has prepared a lion project and sent it to the central government for approval. The project is currently in the process of approval. In response to another question, he said that there are 4376 open wells without parapets in Gir Sanctuary and National Park, in which lions and other protected wild animals fall into such open wells causing injury and death.
