Out of the vacancies filled, 271 vacancies are on contract basis and 180 vacancies are filled with fixed salary.
A total of 238 vacancies in BJ Medical College alone
There are 238 vacancies in BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad. There are 884 sanctioned establishments in BJ Medical College. 44 posts on contract basis and 54 posts on fixed salary have been filled. The government has answered the question of MLA Himatsinh Patel.
A total of 28212 teacher-principal vacancies in the state
If we talk about vacancies in primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of the state, there are 16318 vacancies for teachers in primary schools and 1028 vacancies for principals. There are 730 vacancies in secondary schools and 756 vacancies in higher secondary schools. There are 774 vacancies in Granted Primary School and 2547 vacancies in Granted Secondary School. In addition there are 3498 teacher vacancies in Granted Higher Secondary School. Thus, it has been revealed that a total of 28212 posts of teachers and principals have become vacant in the state's granted and government schools.

In the assembly, the state government has given information about the reduction of staff in the panchayats. The district panchayat is currently experiencing a 55% reduction in the number of class 1 to 4 personnel. In which 143 vacancies of class 1 vacancies are available in district panchayats. 355 vacancies of class-2 filled, 299 vacancies, 2208 vacancies of class-2, 3158 vacancies still vacant, 481 vacancies of class-4 filled, 3385 vacancies. How many are unemployed in Gujarat according to government statistics?
During the Question Hour in the Gandhinagar Assembly session, a question was asked by a Congress MLA about the number of unemployed. To which the government replied that in the last two years there are a total of 3,64,252 unemployed in the state out of which 3,46,436 are educated unemployed. While 17,876 are semi-educated unemployed. In response to a question about the vacancy in the road and building department, the government itself has admitted that 50 per cent vacancies are in the road and building department.
