Baby Mail installed in Lucknow Mail
Railways is currently installing a baby berth in Lucknow Mail as a pilot project in which children can travel to sleep comfortably. Women traveling with small children have difficulty sleeping with the baby on the berth. With this in mind, Northern Railway has installed baby berths in the lower berths. After receiving feedback from passengers about the facility, which was started as a pilot project, it could be extended to more trains.

Railways has started baby berths in only one train at present. If this pilot project is successful, it will be introduced in all trains of the country.
Baby berths were added to the lower berths
The Lucknow division of Northern Railway has installed baby berths in the lower berths. This berth also has a stopper so that the baby does not fall down while sleeping. This seat can also be folded. It can also be done up and down. This will benefit women who have young children. Currently this facility is offered only in Lucknow Mail. The Lucknow Mail departs from Lucknow and returns to Lucknow from New Delhi and New Delhi. Baby berths are introduced in berths 12 and 60, so that the mother can travel comfortably with her baby. It has been launched on Mother's Day on May 8.
When will the baby berth start in other trains?
In case the baby berth facility started in Lucknow Mail is successful, the Railways is planning to implement it in other trains. If successful, the experiment will be rolled out to all trains. Women traveling by rail with small children will get a big relief of baby berth and will be able to travel comfortably with them.
