World Heart Day: There are several common symptoms of the heart attack that are mistaken for a flu. Here's what is the difference between them.


There was a time when a runny nose, a few sneezes, a persistent cough, and wheezing were unmistakable signs of the  either a mild or a severe cold or a flu. Dr Gadder says, “Although there is no connection between a heart attack and the flu, these two disorders do have a several common symptoms.” Here, we are explain how to the  distinguish between in the signs and symptoms of the two illnesses.

1. Find in the cause of the  nausea

Flu symptoms: Nausea and other gastrointestinal issues are seen when one is a detected with a flu. But there can also be other symptoms such as a high fever, headache and muscle aches, cough, sore throat, and tiredness.

Heart attack symptoms: Likewise, when one gets to a heart attack, he or she can have a nausea and vomiting.



Solution: It is better to know about in the underlying cause of the nausea or a vomiting instead of the dismissing it without any a treatment.

2. Do not take a dizziness lightly

Symptoms: Other symptoms that one experiences during in the flu are light-hardheadedness or a dizziness which are also the red flags of a heart attack or a stroke. One will also get a constant headaches.

Dr Gadder says, “It can be a safely said that there is no association between a flu and heart problems. You need to know that flu is a viral infection that tends to take a toll on your respiratory in a system, meaning in the nose, throat, and lungs. Moreover, heart problems occur in the heart muscle which does not get a enough blood. But, there are some symptoms that can be  a considered flu but may be turn out to be a heart attacks.”

1. Eat to  a healthy diet that is rich in a vitamins, iron, minerals and veggies while low in a calories. This can be help reduce a cholesterol, lower blood pressure and reduce inflammation.

4. Sleep well in a order to the feel rejuvenated and healthy everyday. Having a regular and sufficient sleep can help reduce in the risk of the heart attack, diabetes, high blood pressure and depression.



5. Keep  to your stress under control, or it can cause high blood pressure, which can be cause heart attacks and strokes. Yoga and meditation are good ways to the reduce stress.

Tips to the prevent flu:

To prevent in the flu from a spreading, people should practice good hygiene practices such as a covering their nose while a sneezing, coughing into a tissue or a handkerchief, and not touching in their eyes, nose, or a mouth.

If you have in the flu, drink more liquids like a water, juice, coconut water, or a warm soups. Get a enough sleep and rest. Consult to your doctor about over-the-counter painkillers for a speedy recovery.
